Temperature dependence of the static quark diffusion coefficient

چکیده
The propagation of a low momentum heavy quark in deconfined quark-gluon plasma can be understood terms Langevin description. exchange with the thermal equilibrium then parametrized single diffusion coefficient κ, which needs to determined nonperturbatively. In this work, we study temperature dependence κ for static gluonic plasma, particular emphasis on range interest ion collision experiments.

Temperature and concentration dependence of diffusion coefficient in dilute solutions*
Temperature and molecular weight dependence of k o in D(C)=D(O)[1 +CkD], where D(C) is the diffusion coefficient for the density fluctuations in a dilute polymer solution, is investigated by first expressing D(C) as a function of the static structure factor S(q,C) within the framework of the Kirkwood-Riseman theory. The continuous transition of k D from negative values under theta conditions to...

متن کاملThe temperature dependence of the absorption coefficient of porous silicon
The spectral behavior and the temperature dependence of the absorption coefficient of microporous silicon films are studied in the energy range of 1.2–3.8 eV, between 7 and 450 K. For photon energies above the direct band gap at 3.3 eV, the spectral behavior of the absorption coefficient is similar to that of crystalline silicon, and its absolute value is comparable to that estimated using Brug...
متن کاملCharge transport in DNA: dependence of diffusion coefficient on temperature and electron-phonon coupling constant.
The diffusion coefficient is calculated for a charge propagating along a double-stranded DNA, while it interacts with the nonlinear fluctuational openings of base pairs. The latter structural dynamics of DNA is described by the Peyrard-Bishop-Dauxois model [T. Dauxois, M. Peyrard, and A. R. Bishop, Phys Rev. E 47 R44 (1993)], which represents essential anharmonicities of base-pair stretchings. ...
متن کاملThe Energy Dependence of the Photoelectric Attenuation Coefficient of Substances
Introduction: The photoelectric attenuation coefficient of substances is known to depend upon the energy E of the photon and the effective atomic number of substances (Zeff) as (Zeffx/Ey). No definitive values about these indices x, y are given in the literature. The index x is said to lie between, 3.0 and 4.0, while for ‘y’ different values have been assigned, between 3.0 and 4.0. Method...
